Girls just want to have fun. With some boys ! The boys here are quite sexy and are the stunning Tom Ford lipsticks. Nearly every year now, around the Christmas time, Tom Ford releases his Lips & Boys, a deluxe sized lipstick, having colors from his regular line as well newer shades. The names are all based on men Tom Ford has known in his life. I find that this is a great way to pick up those perfect clutch sized lipsticks. And this year he has also added a few matte lip shades into the Lips & Boys.

The Tom Ford Lips & Boys retail for 36$ for 0.07 oz. A full size Tom Ford lipstick is 0.1 oz and retails for 53$. I have picked up a couple of shades that immediately called my name, Ben (matte) and Dylan (matte). I have swatched these along with the shades I picked up last year, Eric (satin) and Tony (satin). You can see that the mattes are not the dry, stiff mattes of yore. They look beautiful on, very smooth and do not emphasize any lip lines.

I also picked up three more shades later, Cary (Casablanca from the original line), Collin (Indian Rose from the original line) and Evan (matte) and they are so stunning.

From the Sephora website:

What it is:
A clutch-sized, mini lipstick— inspired by the men in Mr. Ford’s life—with an ultra-creamy texture and lasting full coverage.

What it does:
Each Lips & Boy Lip Color is a modern creation of an essential lipstick shade. Infused with soja seed extract, Brazilian muru muru butter, and chamomilla flower oil, each lip color creates an ultra-creamy texture with incredibly smooth application. Packaged in a sleek mini-sized lipstick case, this decadent wardrobe of rich, specially treated pigments are blended to deliver pure color in matte, cream, and metallic finishes

What else you need to know:
TOM FORD has unleashed 25 new boys to debut on your lips, alongside the 25 bestsellers you know and love. Named after men he admires—from intimates to collaborators from around the world—this first-of-its-kind collection introduces a modern matte finish for the very first time.

Designed to be worn on their own or layered with one another, each transforming color amplifies a woman’s individuality while inciting an insatiable desire to try more than one. From nuanced nudes like Bradley and Alexander, romantic roses like Richard and Douglas, to the unabashed boldness of Nicholas and Dominic, there’s a shade and boy for every mood.

There are a plethora of shades and finishes. I am wondering if I should try the metallics next. I especially love the look of Snowdon. In the shades I have picked up, I really am in love with Collin and Cary for an everyday effortless look.

Have you tried these lipsticks ? Which shades are your favorite let me know below. These lipsticks are currently available at all major retailers, you can find them at SephoraNordstromNeiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter.

These absolutely look gorgeous on you darling! I love all of your swatches. Carly, Collin, and Evan look so lovely. I’m loving the new Boys that TF has come out with! I think I’m going to skip the metallics since I don’t prefer that kind of finish but some of them look super pretty.
