It is time for the skin care seasonal transition. My skin is very very weird, it’s combination leaning dry and every time the season changes, it gives me hell. No, I’m not being dramatic but it just makes my life not great at all. But I do have a few products that have helped me through this phase and so let’s talk about them.

I don’t do too many skincare related posts on my blog, since everyone’s skin is so different and we never know how our skin might react to things. But these are what have worked for me to even and smooth my skin, especially now as we are heading into the colder months, I think I have gotten my skincare down.

Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream* : I got this courtesy of Influenster, and I never thought I’d be a fan of this as much as I am. It is for normal to dry skin, and my skin loves this. It soaks it all up, there is no greasiness at all, and it sinks in making my skin feel plump. My tub is almost empty, and I will most definitely be purchasing this. Laneige as a brand was very recently introduced at Sephora, and I am glad. This is going to be a staple for the coming months.

Sunday Riley Luna Oil: This is a night oil, mainly for evenness of skin tone, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and pores. This is a blue colored oil, that I massage into my skin at night. I have been using this for a long time, and my skin has definitely become brighter and better. Whenever the season changes, my skin becomes bumpy, like there are acne bumps underneath my skin, and this oil, smoothens my skin out after a few uses. This is a wonderful product !

Farmacy Honey Potion Antioxidant Hydration Mask: A mask version of the Sunday Riley Luna Oil, it essentially performs the same tasks as the oil. This was a sweet gift from my sweet friend Jenn and I cannot thank her enough. I treasure this, and dread when I finish this cute tub ! If you have dry combination skin, that is quite sensitive and irritated, look no further. Life saver.

Now the above products are for moisturization and adding glow, and plumpness to my skin. But, though I do have irritated bumpy skin during this time of the year, I also exfoliate more, since I know that that combined with moisturization would completely clear my skin. So the products below are what I fall back on for exfoliation.

Beauty RX Maximum Exfoliating Cream and Exfoliating Pads*: I use either of these two, depending on how dry my skin is feeling on that particular day to clear my skin. And then apply any moisturizer and these are so SO good ! They contain glycolic acid to clear out clogging, dull skin and prime the skin for a moisturizer later. When I am very lazy I reach for the pads, but when I have time, I opt for the cream.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme*: These are quite similar to the Beauty RX pads, but more potent. When I find my skin is truly at breaking point of being very very shabby and I need a quicker fix (a week) then I use these every other day, along with a heavy moisturizer (oils by night, cream by day) to make my skin soak up all the goodness and come back to life. These contain a mix of Glycolic, Salicylic, Lactic and Hyaluronic acid, which makes these fabulous !  I’ve been recently sent their Glycolic Fix Foaming Cleanse and Exfoliate Pads, which I am very excited to try and let you know my thoughts on.

These are what are my current go to. Do you see any of your favorites ? What do you do during these seasonal changes ?
