When I started getting into makeup, eons back, I heard about NARS. For me, at the time, MAC was the most I could splurge on. I also really didn’t know too much about any brands’ history back then, but over the years, when I look at NARS, I am so drawn to how edgy but beautiful their collections have been.
I have been slowly building up my NARS collection, and my absolute top favorites are the Isolde eyeshadow duo and their dual intensity blush duo in Jubilation. It goes without saying that their lipstick line is simply gorgeous. #NARSissist
I was pleasantly surprised to hear from the NARS team on my Instagram page. I am grateful to receive opportunities like this. We have a few things from their Nouvelle Vogue Spring 2016 collection, courtesy of NARS. Love that they put in a handwritten note, as a cute personal touch. And as someone who has always been clumsy, I love that they turned me into a ‘Swan’-thi, so I can try and be graceful like a Swan. I had a good laugh at myself ! #complicatednameproblems #clumsyswan
- Rosecliff, described as a “Soft Rose”. It’s a sheer rose nude color on me, but what I love about it is how hydrating it is on my lips. This one is a handbag staple.
- Kari, described as a “Soft Rose Pink” is a very pretty light warm pink, with subtle shimmer in it. Looks beautiful as a lid color. I love their dual intensity eyeshadows, but this shade isn’t as metallic as their original first release of this line, like Dione or Callisto, which are very shimmery metallic colors. Kari, has more understated shimmer, which is beautiful as an everyday shade.
- The Audacious mascara in Black Moon, looks very interesting. I have not yet tried this out. Will report back after a few tries.
One last look at this gorgeous collection. They’re so beautiful for the upcoming warm months.
Have you tried anything from this collection ?
