If there was one eyeshadow stick that surpasses all, it would be this one. Now, in all honesty, I have tried eyeshadow sticks from maybe a handful of brands (NudeStix, Marc Jacobs, Kiko, Laura Mercier, Bourjois, Nars etc) but of all the ones I have tried, I really come back to these. Every other time I apply makeup, I use at least one shade and that speaks volumes about how much I am addicted to these !
Eyeshadow sticks have been around for sometime, and they are know to be a lazy girls hack for quick makeup, but the reason I love the By Terry Ombre Blackstars is that they have some unique and complex shades. It makes it look like I’ve put in more effort that I actually did, and has a very polished yet stunning eye look.
A flawless, buildable, light-reflecting eye shadow that delivers instant lift and radiance.
Formulated with Tahitian Black Pearl, By Terry’s Ombre Blackstar provides luminous color for lusciously smooth lids with just a single stroke of the easy-to-use pen applicator. Its smudge and smear-free formula instantly airbrushes out skin creases, delivering light-reflecting radiance that acts as a rejuvenating lift for the eye area. Incredibly easy-to-apply, this luxuriously creamy eye shadow boasts supremely buildable coverage that’s perfect for creating a dramatic smoky eye, while adhesive polymers provide a color-fixing effect that means your makeup stays impeccably fresh all day long.
These are very creamy and just glide on to my eyes, no tugging at all. And they have about 30 seconds before they set, after which they do not come off, until you take them off at the end of the day. I have extremely oily lids that just eat up eyeshadow, but these are the only eyeshadow that do not fade, or crease AT ALL on me.
They are quite an expensive splurge at 44$ a pop ! But these can be used in multiple ways, either as an eyeshadow base, or standalone product or an eyeliner. They are stellar how ever you use them and stay on all day. I tried to capture how beautiful they are but my swatches do them no justice, you have to see how they twinkle and shine in the light when you move your head.
