It is absolutely no secret that I am a hoarder of all things glowy and highlighter-y (hope that’s an actual word and I just didn’t make up !) And for the past few years, there has been an onslaught of glowy, stunning highlighters and it is beyond hard to choose and I am not gonna lie, I have nightmares about having to choose between highlighters !
Dior Nude Air Luminizer (56$): I have written and gushed (on IG: @the.bling.factor) about how much I loved the original release of the Dior Nude Air Luminizer 001, and now the line has expanded to 3 more shades, and while it was tough to narrow down my options, I finally went with Dior Nude Air Luminizer in 003, a pale golden hue, that is SO glowy and stunning. It is as buttery and glossy on my skin as the original. These are all permanent additions to the line and I couldn’t be happier.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prismatic Amethyst (38$): The last year has also seen a new highlighter trend emerge, that of duo chrome glossy goodness. Now, I am not too adventurous but I did dive into the trend and I am surprised by how much I enjoy duo chrome highlighters on me. The Becca Prismatic Amethyst is a lilac in the pan, and translates to a lilac pink glow on my skin, which I didn’t think would work on my complexion, but I have absolutely fallen in love with the way it reflects and looks on my cheeks. It is not natural, but it isn’t stark either, it just looks stunning ! I love pairing this with warmer tones on my face to really pop !
Estée Lauder Heat Wave (45$): This warm bronzy gold goodness is a repromote with new packaging and design. It is a super soft, and buttery formula, with it looking like molten gold on the skin. I don’t own the original, but looking at comparisons, the original looks a tad more peachy, while the release this year is more golden. I can imagine this looking very glamorous with bronzy skin, and beachy wavy hair with a lip tint. This is limited edition and currently on backorder here at Bergdorf Goodman, in stock here at Neiman Marcus and in stock here at Macy’s. I would hurry and grab one if you can find it !
Tom Ford Soleil Collection in Reflects Gilt (78$): Now, this one. Wow. When I found out this was coming out, I literally squealed with joy ! This is a must have, period. It has two shades, a pale gold and a rosy gold but they would suit all skin tones in my opinion. They just have the most glossy, beautiful and ethereal glow on the skin. This would my top pick of the season ! Find it at Sephora.
