It’s been a while since I got a Charlotte Tilbury product, because nothing was appealing to me the way her original release of eyeshadows did. But recently I saw there were a couple of new releases, the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Glow : Instant Look in a Palette and Pillow Talk lipstick based on the iconic Pillow Talk lipliner (such a mouthful, honestly). I was hooked. The Instant Look in a Palette looked like a perfect addition for me, because I adore rose gold and bronzy tones. This is her third such Instant Look in a Palette release, and I passed on the first two because they didn’t look like they would complement my skin tone or preferences. But I was still skeptical about the lipstick, but lets see how I got on with both of them !
The whole palette is quite striking, it has a super rose gold theme and looks quite intense to look at but fear not, this is Charlotte Tilbury. All the makeup I have tried from Charlotte Tilbury is beautiful, the powders are sheer but buildable and the creams are super blendable and look glowy. What I love about the brand, I also sometimes don’t like, I know such a contradiction of sorts. But hear me out, I love these sheer but buildable textures if I have time to get glam in leisure, where as when I am in a rush and/or busy, I prefer textures which have more pigmentation in the sense that, I don’t need to dip back into the palette a million times ! I find that with most Charlotte Tilbury products I need to really layer on for it to look like I want it to.
That aside, I do really enjoy her latest release the Instant Look in a Palette: Beauty Glow. It is beyond gorgeous to look at and even more striking on the face.

This palette as it says, does give you a more bronzed and radiant version of yourself. I am in LOVE with the eyeshadow shades, especially the Enhance shade. It is just the most gorgeous rose gold copper, and makes your eyes shine bright and just peps up your whole face ! The palette also has a matte warm red brown, so it is quite versatile for a matte or shimmer look !
I think most people, myself included, were a little bit intimidated by the blush shades, but these look perfect on the cheeks. Like I said since these are sheerer finishes, the blushes look glowy (no shimmer) and beautiful, yes even the dark copper shade that’s so scary dark in the pan !
The highlighter is the surprise shade for me personally, as I was blown away by how glowy it makes my skin look without emphasizing any skin texture. It is a champagne gold that has no visible shimmer but makes my skin look very glossy ! The only disappointing shade in the palette was the bronzer, on lighter skin tones, this would be a great warm bronze shade but on my medium skin tone, to hardly shows up. I use it mainly to blend out my contour, so it does not entirely got to waste. Please excuse the swatches, as I am really tan, and my hands get more tan than my face, so the swatches may not reflect how beautiful they look on the face !
Now onto the super exciting Pillow Talk lipstick ! I was so SO skeptical if I would like this, since it just looked like it would be too light for me ? But ! I LOVE IT ! It is a gorgeous pinky brown mauve that is beautiful to complete this whole rose gold bronze look ! I kid you not, try these two products together and tell me if you are not hooked ! I pair the lipstick normally with a slightly warmer lipliner (my go to is the Huda Beauty lip contour in Trendsetter), but that is only because I have really pigmented lips ! But even by itself, the lipstick is just the perfect mauve and now I get all the hype about it !
Overall thoughts, I think these are must haves. I think if you are someone who is into the bronzy glow, with a neutral kick, then these are just perfect for that. You can get the Beauty Glow palette here and Pillow Talk lipstick here. What do you think ? Do you have these or are you eyeing them ?
