If you’re a beauty lover and haven’t heard about this collab then, girl, you have been living under a rock, coz where else have you been ? What have you been doing love ?! Actually, don’t answer that ! Seriously though, this is the most excited I’ve been since … Jeffree Star’s release of Gemini. Yup ! This is going to be a short post since so many bloggers have already reviewed this palette, so let’s get started eh ?
This is the second collaboration between YouTube guru Jaclyn Hill, whom I adore, and Becca Cosmetics. There is a whole collection releasing called the Champagne Glow, and this is the Face Palette which was released in limited amounts a week back. Fret not if you’ve missed this, the whole Champagne Glow collection is officially releasing tomorrow on Sephora here.
This palette retails for 52$ which seems to be priced excellently for all the products included here. This palette has the original Champagne Pop, a new highlighter (more golden) Prosecco Pop. And three blushes, Rose Spritz, Amaretto and Pamplemousse.
Let me just say, the whole collection looks B-E-A-UTIFUL ! The face palette takes the cake though. It is just stunning ! Keep in mind that the swatches are on my arm, which is about 3-4 shades darker than my face.
We all know and adore Champagne Pop, Prosecco Pop is a more golden highlighter, perfect on it’s own for summer. The blushes, now I’m not a big blush baby, but I have to say I LOVE these. Rose Spritz is a luminous blush that is oh-so-glowy – my favorite out of the three. SO beautiful on the cheeks. I like mixing the highlighters to make it more golden pink on me.
The other two are supposed to be mattes, but I find they have tiny little micro glitters that doesn’t translate as glitters on the skin, but lends a glow to these ! Amaretto is almost a bronzer, and Pamplemousse is holy heaven pigmented ! I love that it is so pigmented, but I like mixing this with the highlighters to make it more glowy and highlighter-y on me.
Have you bought this during the pre-sale ? I say go for it if you didn’t ! XO
