April has been so very exciting for me and my most favorite thing this month is my blog ! I finally took the plunge and started this blog, after a lot of pondering if I should or should not. So, thank you to everyone who took the time to stop over and read my blog.

What’s on my lips:  My most loved products any month are lip products, so let’s get started. I’m majorly lovin’ liquid lipsticks at the moment. Like, gimme everything ! Jeffree Star is giving some stiff competition to my Jouer liquid lipsticks. Their formula is quite different, the Jouer ones are a bit mousse like, a little thicker while the Jeffree Star ones are quite thin, and almost watery but they truly have one swipe opacity. Both of these are super comfortable, and long lasting. You might see some color from these lines every month now !

I’m also loving the Marc Jacobs enamored glosses, these are so comfortable without being sticky. Very glossy but look beautiful. While the last two products, NARS lipsticks in general and the Smith and Cult Tainted Stain, these have constantly made into my handbags. That good.

What’s on my face: As you all have heard a thousand times already, I’ve been loving glowy products this month. So, it’s no surprise that all these are perfect for that dewy, skin glow. Hourglass Luminous Light as an all over powder, trust me, skin blurring filter in a compact. Urban Decay Sin atop Cover FX Bubbly for cheekbones, an intense, popping and gorgeous champagne gold, which just is so beautiful. And my obsession of the month, Too Faced Snow Bunny Bronzer for an all over face bronzy gold glow.

What’s on my eyes: My most used products were Tom Ford Golden Peach and L’oreal Amber Rush. I used a lot of other stunning palettes and eyeshadows, but these two were what I reached for most days for a no fuss look. They also were perfect for this peek a boo weather that we had through out the month.

    Hi Swathi,
I bought Jouer liquid lipstick after reading your post and I absolutely love them.. Thanks for the review!!! Also have u tried TF Nude dip eyeshadow quad.. I am wondering if it might be light on my NC 35 ish skin.. What do you think??

Oh ! I’m so glad you loved the Jouer lipsticks 🙂 I don’t have the Tom Ford Nude Dip quad, but it’s rare that his eyeshadows turn ashy on any skintone. They do look quite lovely, and perfect for everyday neutrals. This quad does not have a glitter shade at all. In his newer quads, Honeymoon seems to be a beautiful warmer option. Xx ❤️

Thanks! Do you think Honeymoon would work as an everyday quad for work? I found viseart minx to be too metallic.. ?

I think if you have the right brushes, even the most metallic shadows can be sheered out to just add some dimension on the eyes. I really like something like the Sigma Tapered Blending E40 brush, this gives a very blown out sheerer finish. That said, if you want a fail safe everyday eyeshadow quad, the Tarte Tartelette in Bloom has beautiful shimmers and mattes, which are perfect for a toned down look. Honeymoon though, does look like its shimmers aren’t as pronounced as the Viseart palette. I hope this long ramble helped love ! Xx ❤️
